The best way to send files to Moran Printing for anyone who has access to an Internet connection is FTP to our site. Files should be sent using FTP client software such as Fetch (Mac)—available from http://www.fetchsoftworks.com  or WS-FTP (PC)—available from http://www.ipswitch.com. This allows the customer to "log on" to our site and select files to send and/or receive.First, prepare the file
All files other than PDF should be prepared properly before transfer or they may become damaged in the process. For Mac file transfers, files should be stuffed and BinHexed using Stuffit from Aladdin Software, available at http://www.aladdinsys.com . For PC file transfers, files should be zipped using WinZip available at http://www.winzip.com . Again, a PDF is not generally affected during file transfer and should only be stuffed or zipped if there are multiple files to be transferred and one file would be easier to send than many. Do not use any illegal characters or spaces in any filename. Macintosh fonts do not transfer well in the .zip format. Mac OS X has built-in .zip archiving functionality, but the fonts will get corrupted if sent via ftp. Please use Stuffit to compress these files. FTP Site
USERID = 27-moran-AC PASSWORD = moran,070405 DROP OFF FOLDER = Drop_Off PICK UP FOLDER = Pick_Up Sending Files: You will then need to open the folder called Drop_Off and place all compressed files, which need to be sent to Moran Printing, in this folder. Retrieving Files: Use same information above for login and then retrieve files from folder named Pick_Up After connecting to the link above, compressed files for submission can simply be dragged & dropped onto the page's window.
